Our Product

Candles have been around for centuries however ours introduce the concept of having simplistic shapes yet without sacrificing beauty.

Reliable

The Bright Idea Project strives to develop a product that inspires others to become aware of our environment and to promote recycling. Our product is an innovative way to reuse discarded light bulbs and turn them into candles that decorate the home. We hope to provide a sense of warmth and light to our customers with a unique touch of creativity by introducing oil based, scented candles encased in recycled light bulbs. There are many different types of candles on the market in the candle industry; however our product highlights the areas of simplicity of shapes and beauty, with a focus on using eco-friendly materials.

Quality

By using paraffin oil in our candles, we can increase the burning life of our product in comparison to the generic wax candles so as to provide longer lasting candles with a competitive price point. The wick of our candles are made from shoe laces that absorb the oil at a slower rate due to their material which also serves to increase the life of our product. Our candles come in a variety of colors and scents to entice a variety of customers to match personalities, preferences and surroundings. The wood bases are intended to mimic the shadow of the light bulb itself to provide a more three-dimensional feel.

Safety

We are aware that as this product utilizes hot oil and fire, it has some inherent safety concerns. To address these concerns, each product will have a brief write-up attached, which will review the usage instructions as well as the safety precautions. To address the issue of the mishandling of the products, there are labels on the boxes that indicate that the product is fragile and it should stand upright. Included on the inside of the box, is also a brief manual on the proper usage of the product, which also displays the WHMIS symbols that apply to our product.
